EDUCATION
Dr. Manjushree M S obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, Mysore, under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, from 2010 to 2016. She further pursued her postgraduate training, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bengaluru, India, from 2017 to 2020.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Manjushree currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Sri Chamundeshwari Medical College Hospital and Research Institute in Ramanagara. Prior to this, she was a Senior Resident at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal from November 2021 to December 2023, where she treated approximately 2,500 outpatients and 700 inpatients, with a primary focus on addiction and consultation liaison psychiatry. During her tenure, she trained around 25 postgraduate psychiatry students, M.Phil. Clinical Psychology trainees, and M.Phil. Psychiatric Social Work trainees in clinical practice, research, and academic presentations.
Before her role at Kasturba Medical College, Dr. Manjushree worked as a Senior Resident at JIPMER, Puducherry, from May 2021 to September 2021. There, she contributed to the psychiatry training of MBBS undergraduate students, managing around 2,500 outpatients and 150 inpatients, with a particular emphasis on schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Additionally, she served as a Non-PG Senior Resident at NIMHANS from July 2020 to December 2020, managing psychiatry patients during the COVID-19 pandemic and participating in the COVID NIMHANS helpline.

Dr. Manjushree has made significant contributions to the field of psychiatry through her research and presentations. She has co-authored several research publications, including:

CONTRIBUTIONS
Dr. Manjushree has actively participated in various academic and organizational activities. She volunteered for the COVID Helpline at NIMHANS in 2020 and was a member of the organizing committee for the Academic Oscars in 2019. Additionally, she has served as a volunteer for the Indian Science Congress (ISC) in 2016 and represented junior residents on the EPAC Committee at NIMHANS. Dr. Manjushree has also been involved in the Magazine Art Committee at Mysore Medical College and served as School President at Chinmaya Vidyalaya.
Her research presentations include a poster on "Copying Success" at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry CME in 2019 and a research paper on "Correlation between Neonatal Anthropometric Measurements and Fasting Maternal Lipid Profile," presented at the EMPOWER International Medical Congress in 2013 and the Illuminati International Medical Conference in 2015.
