Education

Dr. Sunka completed his MBBS from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Nepal, followed by an MD in Psychiatry from NIMHANS, Bengaluru. His academic journey has been marked by notable achievements, including securing a top rank in the NIMHANS entrance exam on his first attempt and topping the Foreign Medical Graduation Exam. Additionally, he achieved a commendable rank of 400 in the AIIMS PG Entrance Exam in 2017.

Professional Experience

Dr. Sunka has a well-rounded background in both clinical practice and academia. His tenure includes serving as a Senior Resident and Assistant Professor at Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, from 2020 to 2023, and later as an Assistant Professor at Government Medical College, Asifabad, until March 2024. During this period, he gained significant experience in teaching and training future mental health professionals while managing a diverse caseload. Additionally, as a Consultant Sexologist at Allo Health in Bengaluru, he focused on sexual health, helping individuals address a wide range of sexual health concerns.

Achievements and Contributions

Dr. Sunka is a recognized member of the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and has participated in global forums, including the International Symposium on Dementia and the National Conference of the Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI). He has also been a participant in the International Marcee Society Biennial Scientific Meeting. His accomplishments in the field include successfully treating over a thousand patients with sexual dysfunctions, and he is highly regarded for his patient-centered, evidence-based approach.
